Estados Unidos Brutal incendio en una fábrica de ataúdes de Boston

Un espectacular incendio azotó el viernes una fábrica de ataúdesen la ciudad de Boston (Estados Unidos). Las llamas envolvieron todo el edificio y tomaron una especial virulencia que obligó a desplazar un centenar de bomberos hasta la zona. Debido al humo y la dureza del fuego, el servicio de metro tuvo que interrumpirse en los alrededores y varios vecinos fueron evacuados durante las tareas de extinción. Afortunadamente, no hubo heridos ni muertos.

Que espectacular se ve el trabajo coordinado de las mecánicas y sus pitones.
Digo "se ve" porque obviamente no estaba ahí para evaluar su real efectividad.

Boston y Detroit entre varios grandes FD, han tenido problemas pare renovar sus telescópicos, de hecho estos son muy re antiguos, para los criterios de USA, en general ya estarían de "reserva", se puede ver que el monitor tiene "control remoto" con cuerda y no tienen cañería telescópica.

Algunos intencionalmente escogen no tener cañería telescópica por el tema de daños, pero son una minoría, claro que son como US$15.000 menos en el valor del carro, y sin control remoto otros US$5.000, un ahorro de US$20.000 que en un carro de unos US$600.000 no paree muy relevante...aunque debe haber algo de política metido entre medio.

Boston chooses to not use pre-piped waterways because of the damage that occurs when placing the ladder against buildings. They tried them for awhile but found they were damaged too much to be of benefit.
